Referring to the story that at his birth, his parents lived at Lick Observatory on top of Mount Hamilton. When it was time for him to be born, the stagecoach headed down the mountain with his mother inside. Max was born in that stagecoach before reaching San Jose. He was therefore actually born in 'College Park', the park land belonging to the University of California at Berkeley.

His usual residence was 651 Sinex Avenue, Pacific Grove CA. The informant was John Aitken, son, 1020 Union Street, #14, San Francisco, CA 94123. Max died from Arteriosclerosis heart disease(20 years), and had a history of arrhythmia, and was pacemaker dependent since 1964. Cremated May 2 1983 by The Little Chapel by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove CA.
