Ruth A. Powell, 85, of Charlottesville, Va. entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2016, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pencie Johnson Agee. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Clyde Powell.She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted family, one son, Steven C. Powell and his wife, Alycia of Los Angeles; three sisters, Anna Nelson, Virginia Gray, and Evelyn Jones and her husband, Willis all of Keene, Va., four grand and one great-grandchild, and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at The Covenant Church with Pastor Gene Woodson officiating, interment will follow at Culpepper National Cemetery.Services of comfort are entrusted to the staff of McClenny Funeral Service.
