Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home with calling hours from 8 a.m. until time for services Friday at Rabenhorst Chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mark Roberts. Burial in the Port Gibson, Miss., at 3 p.m.
She was the wife of the late Alcus E. Alford.
Survivors include two sons, Wendell O. Alford and W.C. Alford, both of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae Burch, Birmingham, Ala.; Mrs. Emily Smith and Mrs. Verdia Miller, both of Mount Hermon; two brothers, Coleman Simmons, Franklinton, and Cloyce Simmons, San Francisco and seven grandchildren.
