Ordell Gaylord Earp, 84, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born December 14, 1922 in Oney, Oklahoma to Cicero and Irene (Wilkerson) Earp.

He served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII and was recalled into service during the Korean War. He flew 30 missions during WWII, flying his last mission on his 22nd birthday. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross with three oak leaf clusters and the air medal with two battle stars. He was employed for 37 years with HumptyDumpty Grocery Stores before retiring in 1983 as a meat market manager. He served as a Deacon at Southwest Freewill Baptist Church where he was a faithful member for many years. Ordell was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Myrtle Lodge.

Ordell is survived by one son, Steve Earp and wife Mary Ann; daughter, Linda Jones and husband Kevin; and six grandchildren, Henry Jones; Steven Earp and wife Chrysty, Sonya Tyra and husband Rick, Rachel Bartlett and husband Todd, Daniel Earp and wife Stephanie, and Shane Riley; and ten great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kimbery, John Mark, Mikayla, Jerimiah, Javani, Alannah, Austin, Jocelyn, and Aspen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Sat., June 9, 2007 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
