Mr. James (Jim) Roy Sain age 96 of McMinnville, TN, (Bethany Community) died Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his residence. He was born August 25, 1919, in Warren County, TN, was a retired cattle farmer, and was a member of the Church of Christ at Mt. Leo where he formerly served as an Elder. Mr. Sain was preceded in death by his parents Morris and Jessie Mansfield Sain, his wife of 69 years Eva Mae Sain, son James Blanton Sain, sisters Lillian Cunningham, Janie Gonce, Margaret Womack, and Anna Mae Southard, and brothers Robert, Harold, and Fred Sain.

Survivors include his children Violet Sain Cantrell-Mullins and husband Charles, Vaughn Sain and (Carla Kirby), Ann Sain Vandagriff and husband Ronnie, and Steve Sain and wife Debbie, grandchildren Debbie Warren and husband Martin Johnson, Sherry (Justin) Britton, Donna (Stan) Hofferbert, Beth Sain, J. T. Sain, April (Jamie) Higgins, Caleb (Emily) Vandagriff, Sara Vandagriff, Jared (Amanda) Sain, David Sain, Lori Anne (Randy) Hitchcock, and Katie Sain, 17 great-grandchildren, and a sister Ruby Brewer. Many nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 01, 2016, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Charles Mullins and Bro. Lane Dix will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The Sain Family will receive friends Monday from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Tuesday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
