Barbara Riches passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 22, 2016.

Barbara was born June 20, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Viola Louise Davis and Hiram Gange Acocks. Her birth was warmly welcomed by big sister, June Hadley and big brother, Jerry Acocks. She married Newell Clynn Mann and later, Isaac Lynn (Skip) Riches.

Largely remembered for her extensive wanderlust, Barbara traveled far and wide enjoying a wide range of experiences. Her enthusiasm for travel was equally matched by her love of art and gardening. Barbara was a caring soul who enjoyed spending time with her family, and welcoming new friends into her heart.

She is survived by her three children, Newell Clay Mann (Kat), Michael Chris Mann (Tam), Derrick Riches (Sabrina), and her many beautiful grandchildren. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry, and husband Skip.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held March 1st from 6 to 9 p.m. at Arbor Manor, 2888 West 4700 South, West Valley City. Business casual attire. 7 p.m. Family Prayer and Story-telling.
