Chester R. Banfill

Word has been received here of the death Wednesday of Chester R. Banfill, 72 years old, in Avon Park, Fla. He resided at 124 Chicago street, Eaton, and Frostproof, Fla.

A retired funeral home director, he was a native of Preble county and had lived in Richmond Rock Creek, Ohio, and Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Grotto and the Eastern Star in Dayton and the Eaton Methodist church.

He is survived by the widow Elmina; two daughters, Mrs. John Griffith and Mrs. Albert McDaniel, both of Dayton; one son, Roger D., of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Gilson and Mrs. Ralph Vore of Fort McKinley, Ohio, Mrs. Roy Bellew of Centerville, Ind., and seven grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Banfill were held Tuesday at the Routsong funeral home in Dayton, Ohio. Burial was in Monroe cemetery near Eldorado, Ohio.
