Mr. Fred Kasten, an old resident of this county and one of the
first settlers of the town of Two Rivers, died at his home near Shoto
yesterday morning. He was 77 years and 7 months old and leaves a wife, 4
daughters and one son. The funeral will take place from St. John
Lutheran Church in this city at 2 o'clock pm tomorrow. He was an upright
citizen and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
