A. L. McElroy, 83, a retired school counselor, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
A.L. was born Aug. 2, 1923, to Dr. A.P. and Mertis McElroy. He served in the U.S. Army. A.L. was a career counselor for the Fort Worth ISD, most recently at Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School.
Survivors: 5 Nieces; 4 nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
