Phoebe Parry was born in 1845 in Liverpool, England. She married William James Dixon on March 19, 1870 in Liverpool. He was born Oct. 23, 1843 in Liverpool to Joseph and Mary Ellen Boardman Dixon. Phoebe and William Dixon came to the U.S. in 1883 and settled near Licking, MO. His parents had all ready settled here around 1870. They are buried in Houston, Missouri. William and Phoebe had no children. William Dixon died on Mar. 10, 1909 in Tuttle, Oklahoma when he was visiting his brother Joseph Waford Dixon and he is buried there. William's sister, Elizabeth Dixon Grant, was married to John Charles Grant and she is also buried at the Licking Cemetery.
