Anna Amelia Clark Schott, the daughter of William Clark III and Amelia Taylor, was born 02 June 1876. Her mother’s father Charles Stanfield Taylor arrived in Texas in about 1830 and was a signer of the Texas declaration of independence. Her mother was born in Nacogdoches on 22 April 1845. Her grandfather William Clark II was also a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and was Chief Justice of Nacogdoches County in 1837. Amelia Anna Schott died on 29 February 1964 and was buried in the Old Catholic section of the Oak Grove Cemetery next to her husband Frances Sebastian Schott. She was approved as a Stone Fort Chapter charter member on 14 November 1950.
