Pearl's first husband was the late William McKinley Ham and they had 5 children, Stella Marie, Bobby Gene, Larry Keith, William McKinley Jr and Thomas Bryant Ham. Pearl was the one who added the extra M in Ham. Her reason was that she didn't want to be named after a piece of meat. That was so funny when my mother told me that, she was a real witty person.
