He is survived by his sisters Filomena Cardoso and Ines Avila and brother Luis Avila. He departed Angola to the USA in 1975 where he worked in several dairies in Merced, Hanford, Hilmar and Newman. He is also survived by his current wife of 26 years, Germana T. Avila and her eight children. Antonio loved to take care of his garden, play suéca and dance.
Memorial services will be on Friday Feb 26th at Turlock Memorial Park, viewing 3 – 7pm, Rosary at 7pm. Funeral services Saturday Feb 28th at 10am Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar, CA. with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park for final resting.
