Betty Jo Young age 80 of Danville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

Betty Jo was born May 13, 1935 in Scott County, Arkansas to the late S.R. & Annie Bea Outlaw Solley. She was a mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Franklin Young; son, Larry Clinton Young; son-in-law, Paul Norton; sibling, Loraine Emery, Lloyd Solley, Lois Goines, Zellar Alexander, R.B. Ball, Anna Jean Metcalf and Don Solley.

Survivors include her daughters, Lee Ann Norton of Lovington, New Mexico; Nancy & Catfish Ward of Danville; Diane & Sammy Kemp of Longview, Texas; sister, Kate Metcalf of Ola; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob & Charlotte Solley of Kingston; Tony & Charlene Solley of Bluffton; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at Freedom Church in Waldron with Rev. Jonathan Metcalf officiating. Burial will be at Freedom Cemetery in Waldron. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday February 28, at the funeral home.
