ETHRIDGE IVA James Quincy Ethridge, 74, of West Green Street, husband of Valeria Phillips White Ethridge, died July 6, 1989 at Anderson Memorial Hospital. He was a retired policeman for Iva and a member of Rocky River Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four sons, Jame H. Ethridge of Starr, William G. Ethridge and Edward Ray Ethridge, both of Iva and Charles R. Ethridge of Avon, N.C.; a daughter, Doris Cannon of Abbeville; four stepsons, Marion E. White, Carl C. White and Jerry E. White, all of Iva and Earl White of Abbeville; and three sisters, Kathleen Coats of Sandy Springs, Doris Entrekin of Abbeville and Mrs. Frank (Margie) Boggs of Clemson. Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Rocky River Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
