"Sudden End of a Prominent Spotsylvania Lady-Fredericksburg, VA
Mrs. Elliott H DeJarnette of Lewiston, Spotsylvania county, died suddenly this morning. The deceased was a popular and well-known lady and her death will be received with deep regret by a large circle of acquaintances. She was a Miss Magruder of Albemarle county and considerable literary talent, having for a number of years been a regular contributor to several of the reading magazines. Besides her husband, three children survive, her-Dr. DeJarnette, of Staunton, E.H. DeJarnette and Mrs. J.D. Micks, of the county. Mrs Micks was only married about two weeks ago."
