M. Jolene Buley, 77, Henderson, passed away at 1:10 a.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016, at her home after having suffered complications from a broken hip.
She was an active member of First Assembly of God. Jolene was born in Evansville on February 11, 1939, and attended Central High School. She enjoyed participating in activities at The Gathering Place and exercising with The Silver Sneakers at the YMCA.
She was preceded in death by one son, Bryan S. Buley, who died December 25, 2002; her parents, Lawrence “Toad” Bryant and Lolan Stewart; and one brother, Harold “Sonny” Bryant.
Survivors include her husband of 59 ½ years, Jim; one daughter, Teresa Varble of LaGrange, Kentucky; one son, Jeff Buley and his wife, Marla, of Spottsville; one daughter-in-law, Heather Buley of Henderson; and four grandchildren, Jillian Varble of Lexington and Alex Buley, Hannah Buley, and Spencer Buley, all of Henderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Jeff Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
