SATURDAY, MAY 13, 1910

JAMES SEIBERLING FUNERAL IS HELD
AGED RESIDENT LIVED IN OLDEST HOUSE FORTY-SIX YEARS.

BLUE MOUND-May 13.-The funeral of James Seiberling was held at 10 o'clock Friday morning. Interment was in Hall cemetery.
Mr. Seiberling died Wednesday at his home in Blue Mound, where he had lived for the last forty-six years. He was born near Allentown, Pa., in 1818 and in 1838 was married to Sarah Moser, who died twelve years ago. He first moved to Ohio then to Macon county.
Fourteen children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Seiberling. Four of them survive. They are Peter Seiberling of Ottawa, Owen Seiberling of West Plaines, Mo.; Mrs. H.H. Wise of Decatur and Mrs. E.E. Stuver of Blue Mound.
When Mr. Seiberling first came to Macon county the house in which he lived at the time of his death was on a farm. It is now on the principle street of Blue Mound. His farm has been largely sold off in town lots.
