Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 11 at New Shiloh Missionary Church for
Ethel Mae Sutton Hosey, 96. Bro. John D. Floyd and Bro. Sonny Nutt officiated.
Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hosey was born Aug. 8, 1902, at Schaal, the daughter of the late John Harve and
Leila Lucinda Lyons Sutton. She died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, at a Nashville hospital.
She was a charter member of New Shiloh Missionary Church, where she taught Sunday
school for many years.
Mrs. Hosey was preceded in death by: her husband, Jesse Ivan Hosey, who died April
2, 1976; a brother, Homer L. Sutton; two sisters, Mary Gladys Clements and Mable A.
Nutt.
Survivors include; a brother, John Lyons Sutton of Texarkana; a sister, Louise Hosey
of Mineral Springs.
