Estelle "Aunt Becky" Alacqua, nee Boren, age 90, of Pitman, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, in Elmer Division of South Jersey Hospital. Born in Booneville, MS, she was a resident of Glassboro from 1941 until a year ago when she moved into Pitman Manor. Mrs. Alacqua was a housewife who enjoyed casino trips, crocheting and baking. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Glassboro and Glassboro Senior Citizens.

Predeceased by her two husbands, Anthony J. Mastroeni and Peter J. Alacqua, she is survived by her son, Philip Mastroeni, and his wife, Angela, of Glassboro and her daughter Mary Lu Williams and her husband, Sandford, of FL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 14, 2010, at 12:00 Noon in the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ, where friends may call after 10:30 AM. Burial will be private. Those desiring may make a contribution in Mrs. Alacqua’s memory to Pitman Manor, 535 N. Oak Avenue, Pitman, NJ 08071.
