Sharon Waldron Myers, 67 of Screven, Ga. died Friday, February 19, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness.

The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member, pianist and Adult Sunday School teacher of Liberty Lighthouse Church and a retired employee with Food Lion Grocery. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and reading. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Wesley Myers; parents, Max and Verna Waldron; brother, David Lee Waldron.

Survivors are a daughter, Elizabeth Evans Butler of Tifton, Ga.; a son, Raymond (Hannah) Myers of Mt. Pleasant Community; a granddaughter, Maggie Grace Myers; grandson, Corey Marcus Butler; a sister, Lo Anne Lane of Screven, Ga.; a brother, Donald Waldron of Screven, Ga.; a companion, Wesley Roberson of Screven, Ga.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, February 22, 2016 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Charlie Manning officiating. Interment will be the Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Waldron, Tony Sutton, Brandon Myers, Dalton Kennedy, Barry Waldron and Scott Altman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Liberty Lighthouse Church, the members of the Fourbends Breakfast Club in Screven, Ga.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the funeral home.
