Clair A. Boreman, 90, of Belleville and formerly of McClure, died at 9:31 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at his residence.Born Aug. 27, 1925, in Shindle, he was the son of the late Sherman and Estelle (Knepp) Boreman.Clair is survived by: his wife, Agnes (Kuhns) Boreman, who he married Oct. 31, 1945; his daughter, Nancy Walters and husband, Norman, of McClure; his son, Donald Boreman and wife, Terry, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Brian, Kris, Karen, Christine and Michael; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Kendal, Zane, Garrett, Amy, Riley, Laura, Keaton, Logan, Tyler, Wyatt, Cooper, Emily, Reece and Evan; and a great-great-grandchild, Westin; and his brother, Roy Boreman and wife, Darlas, of McClure.He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Yetter, Mabel Ertley and Joyce Boreman.Clair was employed as a foreman for PennDOT. He was employed for Womeldorf Trucking, retiring in 1964. He drove over the road for 59 years and he drove a tour bus for Yoder Tourways.He was a member of St. Mark's Alfarata Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Lewistown Lodge No. 203 F&AM, Royal Arch Masons Lewistown, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Shriners and Mifflin County Shrine Club. Clair enjoyed working outdoors.His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., with the Rev. William Kuhns officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery.His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions in Clair's memory can be made to St. Mark's Alfarata Lutheran Church, 573 Alfarata Road, Lewistown, PA 17044.
