Reference to Henry Passmore Sr. and his wife Martha Busel can be found the "Genealogy of the Sharpless Family, Descended From John and Jane Sharples, Settlers Near Chester County Pennsylvania, 1682" published for the family, under the Auspices of the Bi-Centennial Committee, Philadelphia, 1887. The family of Henry Passmore, Sr. were William Penn's Quakers.

Henry and Martha Passmore left the area of Chester County,Pennsylvania/Cecil County, Maryland ca. 1800 and came to the area of Colerain Township. They were found in the Ross Township, Butler County area in 1820 and returned to Whitewater Twp, Hamilton County. It appears that Old Henry owned land in Whitewater Twp. (S26, T2, R1, purchased in 1815),

They had eleven children; our descendant, Henry Jr. being the oldest son. Henry Sr. and Martha are buried at Old Baptist Cemetery in Harrison Township, Hamilton County, Ohio.
