Christy Lee Koontz Fenton, 56, of Alpine passed away surrounded by family at home after a quick and devastating illness.

Born January 30, 1960 the daughter of Kent Jay Koontz and Sharon Kay Wood.

She married Michael Thomas Fenton November 28, 1987 in Long Beach, California and their marriage was later solemnized in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple on March 22, 2014.

Christy worked in the real estate field for 10+ years before owning and operating her own mortgage company for 20+ years and then deciding to pursue nursing.

She worked for IHC for 6 years and was a diligent worker who was very achievement oriented. She loved people which made her a fabulous nurse and caregiver. She was very artistic and loved to share her talents. She was a person who always had a project in the works and it wasn’t done until it was perfect.

Her family was her life and her life’s focus, she loved them all deeply.

Survivors include her husband, Mike; children: Devon Douglas; Shawna Weaver; Jennifer Douglas; Christopher (Sundee) Wilson; Amanda Fenton; Jared (LaChelle) Fenton; 12 grandchildren; her parents and a sister, Corey Reynolds.

She is preceded in death by 3 grandchildren.

Burial in the Alpine cemetery.
