Our Anna...
She was vain, but was not false.
She loved to talk, but did not boast.
She had regrets, but was not bitter.
She knew no strangers, only friends.
She seldom cried, but loved to laugh.
She loved to exaggerate, but did not lie.
She was not a writer, but told great stories.
She was not an author, but read everyday.
She could be particular but was not picky.
She could not carry a tune, but loved music.
She was not a movie star, but was glamorous.
She did not dress fancy, but loved to dress up.
She had limited mobility, but remained a free spirit.
She valued her possessions, but was not possessive.
She lived a very long life, but remained young at heart.
She could no longer dance, but now dances in heaven.
She was never a great cook, but always great company.
She had weaknesses, but possessed great personal strength.
She could not always attend church, but loved the Lord all her life.
She was not a "Domestic Goddess," but carried herself like royalty.
She was our mother, our grandmother, our great-grandmother, our friend, and her smile lit up our lives. She adored her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her family, her friends, and the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Anna is survived by her daughter Sandra (Jim) Hoffman, and son Nicholas Gibbs of Mio, Michigan, her eight grandchildren.
