Service: 1:30 p.m. today at Beauvoir United Methodist Church in Biloxi.

GULFPORT --- Paul L. Prescott, 77, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003 in Gulfport.

Mr. Prescott was a native of Deshau and a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 40 years. He served in the United States Air Force during WWII and the Korean Conflict; he retired from the military after serving for 20 years. Following his retirement from the military he worked at Paine Refrigeration in sales.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Vernie Walters Prescott; a daughter, Gloria Prescott; four brothers, Major Prescott, Arnold "Cooter" Prescott, Harold Prescott, and N. L. Prescott; and two sisters, Moddie Dawkins and Mary Brumfield.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Ishee Prescott of Yazoo City; a son, Dennis Prescott of Biloxi; five daughters, Lynn Prescott of Los Angeles, Cathy Flanagan of Conway, Ariz., Nancy Deas of Gulfport, Debbie Carter of Mobile, Liz Kastner of Biloxi; two sisters, Etolia Waldrup of Laurel, Nell McCarty of Bay Springs; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today at Beauvoir United Methodist Church in Biloxi. Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.
