Obituary- MONROE, N.C. - Edna Shrader Strickland Ellison, 82, €ormerly of 4 Geer St Belton, ^.C., died Saturday, Feb. 19_ 2000, at the Hospice House ot Union County-Monroe. ^ Born in Credda, W.Va., she was a retired employee and a :membe»of Big Creek Baptist 'Church. , , Surviving are stepdaugh- ters, Clara Fay Pack of Belton, :Anna May Loftis of Gaffney, S C., and Sue Porter of Colum- bia; half sisters, Melba Coker and Wilma Crawford, both ot Belton; stepsister, Ruby Shock- ley of Belton; three grandchil- dren, three step-grandchilddren, six great-grandchildren, and one
great-great-grand- daughter. . ,- .„ She was the widow of Jonas Ellison and a daughter of the late Rubert and Flora Clark Shrader. She was first married to the late Wyatt B. "Chick Strickland. She was preceded in deattvby a son, Jerry Strickland;
a sister, Sadie Hamilton, a brother, Golden Shrader; and a half-brother, Jerry Fleming. Graveside services will be at 11 a m. Tuesday at the Garden of Memories by the Rev. Tim Crawford. The body is at Cox Funeral Home, where the fam_ alv
will receive friends from 7 t0 9 P.m. Monday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omit- ted and memorials be made to the Hospice House of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, N.C.
