Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Regina E. “Reggie” Kelzenberg, 87, of St. Cloud will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Regina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16th at St. Benedict’s Senior Community Center in St. Cloud. Reverend LeRoy Scheierl will officiate. Entombment will be at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Regina was born on October 10, 1928 in Lastrup, Minnesota to Joseph and Amelia (Weiss) Gross. She married Roman J. Kelzenberg on June 3, 1952 in Lastrup. They moved to St. Cloud in 1962 and Regina was employed as a waitress for Original Restaurant on Germain for 21 years. She then worked at Hemsings Deli until retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Paul’s Parish and Christian Women and the St. Cloud Eagles Aerie #622 Ladies Auxiliary.
Regina is survived by her husband, Roman; children, Janice Bruner and Jay (Laurel) both of St. Cloud; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and sisters, Angeline Holzinger of Blaine, Viola Stangl of Pierz, and Hildegarde Cree of Coon Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Victor Gross; and sister, Alma Wurzer.
