Emma Hennegan Dies At Elwood
ELWOOD -- Mrs. Emma Hennegan, 77, Elwood, died at 6 a.m. Monday at the Hamilton County Rest Home near Noblesville. She had been ill for several months.
Before her illness Mrs. Hennegan operated the Hennegan Trailer Court near Elwood. She was born July 9, 1883, in Brookville and was the daughter of William and Louise Robison. She married Edward Hennegan in 1901. Her husband died in 1950.
Mrs. Hennegan was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Isabell, Anderson, and Mrs. Chester Wolfe, Elwood; two sons, Howard and Bus Hennegan, both of Elwood; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Methodist Church with burial in the Elwood City Cemetery.
