Funeral of Hans Henry Hanson,
Funeral services for Hans Henry Hanson, who died Thursday at his home near Saffordville, were held yesterday afternoon in the Saffordville Church. The services were conducted by Rev. J. J. Clemens, pastor of the Lutheran Church of Emporia. Mr. Hanson was 71 years old and had lived in this part of the state for 45 years. Mr. Hanson built the first telephone line used in the section of the country around his home and invented a kind of frog which is used on the Santa Fe tracks today. Mr. Hansons six sons were Pall-bearers: Ed, Henry, Martin, Cleveland, Karl and George.
