Gene "Roger" Green, 51, of Shelburn, passed away on Tuesday Feb. 16, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital, in Indianapolis. He was born in Charleston, W. Va., on Nov. 12, 1964, to Edwin Eugene Green and Millie Frances (Lawrence) Green.
Roger was a 1983 graduate of Owen Valley High School, a U.S. Army veteran of Desert Storm and National Guard. He was employed by Ferrell Gas out of Vincennes, was a member of White River Tractor Association, an avid David Bradley collector, the Bloomington Gold Corvette Club, Sullivan Horseman's Association, Vigo County Posse Association; was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and going to flea markets, and driving his 1975 Stingray.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Caughran Montgomery Green.
