Genevieve was the second youngest child of George E. and Alice M. (Weaver) Amon. She married Daniel Franklin Archambeault on May 2, 1918, in St. Joseph County, Indiana. They had four children, Virginia Winnette, Franklin Thomas, Mary Alice, and Joseph Edward. Genevieve and Frank lived in various locales, including Waukegan, Illinois, and Michigan City, Indiana. Genevieve's death in 1986 left one surviving child of George and Alice Amon, her youngest sibling, Alice J. "Babe" Lockey.
