Minnie Perry
Mrs. Minnie Allison Perry, 75, of 1144 Hillcrest Rd., Wellsville, died Friday at 7:34 p.m. in City Hospital where she had been a patient about four weeks. She was born Nov. 28, 1892, in East Liverpool, a daughter of Harry Allison and Jessie Anderson Allison. Mrs. Perry had been employed as a bookkeeper, last working for the former Liberty Theater at Wellsville, where she had been the piano player at one time. She was a member of the Riverside United Presbyterian Church, the Golden Links Senior Citizens, Order of Eastern Star 417 and a life member of White Shrine of Jerusalem 21, all of Wellsville. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Lockhart. She was married in 1931 to Lester P. Perry, who died Nov. 7, 1975. Survivors include a son, Robert Lockhart of Canton; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Waggoner of Las Vegas, Nev.; a step-daughter, Mrs. William (Ruth) Williams of Wellsville; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Albright of Lisbon, and nine grandchildren and 31 great - grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the MacLean Funeral Home in Wellsville, with the Rev. James McCollam officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and night at the funeral home, where White Shrine services will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. and Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m.
