Marie Brown, 87, a homemaker, died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at The Bee Hive in Carthage.
Services were 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Eddie Pilgrim and Bro. Ray Lathem officiating. Burial was in Leake Memorial Gardens. Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brown, a native of Leake County, was a member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church, but also attended Goshen Methodist Church.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Wayne Brown of Arlington, TX and Larry Brown of Carthage; a daughter, Debra Wilcher of Carthage; a brother, Harmon Latham of Forest; sisters, Ruth Gomillion of Carthage and Shirley Phillips of Decatur; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Tommy Harrison, Robert Faulkner, Joe Brown, Toby Brown, Terry Latham, and Jimmy Price.
