James William Crist, Age 61, of Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Theda Care Regional Center in Neenah. Jim was born on December 2, 1954 the son of William and Doris (Koplien) Crist. He attended Weyauwega-Fremont School District and graduated in 1973. He was a long time member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. On October 25, 1975, Jim married Lynn Williams in Weyauwega. Jim was employed by Presto Products for 35 years. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman, his true passion was waterfall hunting. Jim enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his grandsons. He was a very caring man and would do anything for anyone.
Jim is survived by his wife Lynn, son: Aaron (Ashlay) Crist, Weyauwega; daughter: Angela (Timothy) Stearns, Dale; mother Doris; Mother-in-law: Irene Williams; sister: Mary (Steve) Oehlke; brother: Michael (Carrie) Crist; three grandsons: Dominic and Robbie Stearns, and Weston Crist. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his father Willam, father-in-law, James Williams, grandparents Ed and Dora Koplien and William Sr. and Margaret Crist.
The Funeral Mass for Jim will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Xavier Santiago officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A visitation for Jim will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church from 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass.
