Middletown -- Mrs. ANNIE MARY HAUPT, 88, died at Montiview Home in Frederick Wednesday. A native of Middletown, she was a daughter of John and Clara Harp Shank and the widow of Maurice Haupt.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church of Middletown.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mary Smith, Hagerstown; Mrs. Helen Lighter, Middletown; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sons, Henry L., Middletown; J. Frank, Frederick, Herber W. and Marshall S., Middletown; Maurice Jr., Braddock Heights; sisters, Mary and Esther Shank and Mrs. Nellie Bowers, all of Bolivar, WV; and Mrs. Frances Gilroy, Middletown.
Services were held at the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro; burial was in the Middletown Lutheran Cemetery.
