SALISBURY, VT. — Peter "Pete" “Two Shoes” Arlen Rheaume (“Two Shoes”), 66, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 10th 2016 at his home in Salisbury, Vt.

He was born on October 14th 1949 in Burlington, Vt., to Leonard and Harriet (Blaise) Rheaume.

Pete grew up in Vergennes, Vt. surrounded by his very large family.

He had fond memories of his mother’s restaurant and helping his big brothers with odd jobs.

Pete joined the U.S. Navy in 1968.

He married his 1st wife Connie Jean Crane on April 20th 1969 in Shoreham, Vermont. They later Separated.

He married the love of his life his 2nd wife; Diane (Rivers) Rheaume, on October 3rd 1975. Together they had two daughters.

Pete drove a tractor trailer truck for 47 years, 25 of those years for William Holdman Inc. hauling milk.

He enjoyed building dune buggies, cooking, and driving truck.

He was most recently employed by his good friend, Walter Robinson at Robinson Transport.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, William, Norman, Michael, Madeline, Francis, Gertrude, Roland, and Reginald.
