Betty Lambert 80, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning, February 14, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Dave; son, Don; parents, Fred and Ethel Kendrick; brother, Dave Kendrick; sisters, Catherine Hoskins and Adda Gillette; son-in-law, Paul Newton; and brother-in-law, Jack Lambert. She is survived by her loving daughter, Laurie Nevvton; devoted niece, Debbie (Brian) Harmon; nephews, Scott (Kathy) Lambert & Todd (Bridgett) Lambert, Dan (Laurie) Kendrick and Duane (Pam) Kendrick and extended family. Betty was a hairdresser and owned Betty's Beauty Shoppe for over 25 years. She later became interested in antiques and owned "Village Antiques" on Main St. in Endicott before retiring in 2008. Debbie and Laurie would like to thank family members Dan, Laurie, Tiffy, Jered and Sue along with Carol, Ann, Margie and Denise for the loving care they showed Betty in her home the last five years of her declining health. And the staff at Susquehanna Nursing Home for the last year and a half. Betty leaves behind lifetime friends Dot, Dora, Jane and Kathy, who faithfully stayed in touch with her. The family also wishes to thank Betty's favorite FNP Melissa Skiadas for her wonderful medical care over the years. Funeral Services will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 East Main St. Endicott, on Wednesday at 6 p.m. with Rev. David C. Seaver officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit in the Spring. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to The Humane Society, 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903 in memory of Betty Lambert.
