He was born July 29, 1910, in Evergreen, Alabama. He worked in the nuclear energy industry for 30 years in Richland, Washington starting in 1944, and resided in Eastern Washington until moving to Monroe.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Neal, and son-in-law, David Neal, of Bothell; his grandsons, Kevin, Brian, and Evan Neal, of Bothell; his grandsons, Scott, Shaun, Mike, and Tim Bolton, of Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in the South. He will be missed by all of his relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his sons, Gaylor and Roger; his ex-wife, Runette;, his parents; and all seven of his brothers and sisters.
