Rex Hulen Simpson, 56, went to be with the Lord on the night of January 25, 2016. Rex was born in Austin, TX on June 23, 1959.

He graduated from Round Rock High School in 1977 and attended Texas Tech University. Rex married Lori Cox on October 24, 1981 at Hyde Park Baptist Church. He was a Petroleum Landman for 25 years. He was an amazing husband, father, grampies, and friend.

Rex is survived by his Wife Lori Simpson; children Courtney Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Rachel and Paul Wichmann; Grandkids Haylee, Tinzlee and Teagan; Mother Lorena Simpson, Sister Paula, Brother Jay and wife Dee Dee, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:30pm at New Hope First Baptist Church, 200 West New Hope Drive Cedar Park, Texas 78613. Officiated by Scooter McCurdy. Graveside service to follow.
