Mrs. Lennie Celeste Capps, 60, died Monday night at the residence, 100 Everett Street.
She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Ralls Carroll, Mrs. Silas Ivey, Mrs. George Robinson, Mrs. Bill Folkner, Mrs. J.C. Haddock, Mrs. Oval Gentry and Mrs. Chester Creek, Chattanooga; one son, John A. Capps, Chattanooga; two brothers, Sam Raglin, Denver, Colo. and Joe Raglin, Rockwood, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Carl Robinson, Chattanooga; 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. T. Perry Brannon and Rev. Carl Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood.

Mrs. Lennie Celeste Capps, 60, who operated her own jewelry and watch repair business at 2447 S. Broad Street for 36 years, died late Monday night at her home, 100 Everett Street.
A native of Rockwood, Tenn., Mrs. Capps learned the watchmaking trade as an apprentice with operators of a shop in the same building owned by her husband, the late C.E. Capps, who was a well-known shoe repairman. Mrs. Capps later took over the jewelry business, insisting on doing most of the repair work over a span of 30 years.
She retired last April, closing out the store and shop because of ill health.
She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Ralls Carroll, Mrs. Silas Ivey, Mrs. George Robinson, Mrs. Bill Folkner, Mrs. J.C. Haddock, Mrs. Oval Gentry and Mrs. Chester Creek, all of Chattanooga; a son, John A. Capps, Chattanooga; two brothers, Sam Raglin, Denver, Colo. and Joe Raglin, Rockwood; a sister, Mrs. Carl Robinson, Chattanooga; 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
