Gladys Luse Sanders, 90, Leavenworth, KS died Wednesday November 26, 2003 at St. John Hospital, Leavenworth, KS. She was born October 20, 1913 in Nortonville, KS the daughter of Charles Darrell and Maggie Jones Luse. She married Harold E. Sanders on September 27, 1933. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1991. She was retired from the Veterans Administration Center where she had been a L.P.N. She attended the Wesleyan Church in Leavenworth. She was a member of the Hegron Baptist Church in rural Winchester, KS and a member of the Retired Federal Employees. Survivors include: 1 Brother-Elgie Luse, 1 Sister Violet Hayden, and many nieces and nephews. 1 grandson, Dr. Marc Sanders. Preceded in death by her son, Dr. Harold L. Sanders, 2 Brothers, Albert Luse and Omer Luse, and 1 Sister, Esther Hannah. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel Burial will be in the McLouth Cemetery, McLouth, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be given to the Multiple Sclerosis of Leavenworth County.
