Mrs. Elizabeth S. Boals, of Canandaigua, was struck and killed by an automobile in Syracuse last Wednesday.

MRS. CHARLES BOALS

The remains of Mrs. Charles E. Boals of Canandaigua, who died at Syracuse last week Wednesday from injuries received when she was hit by an automobile, were brought to the Shortsville Methodist church on Saturday afternoon, where funeral service were held. Rev. Stephen S. Pratt, pastor of Canandaigua Methodist church, officiated, and the remains were interred in the Pioneer cemetery on the Shortsville-Clifton Springs road.

Mrs. Boals was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Southworth, who reside on the Orleans road, and at one time lived in the township of Manchester. Members of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion post at Canandaigua, attended in a body and Legion members served as bearers.

Brief prayer service was held at the home of her parents prior to the service at the local church.
