Ralph E. Young, 86, of Knoxville, went to be with the lord on June 10, 2015. He was a devoted son, husband, father, and papaw.
He was always there for all of us. He would help anyone in need. Ralph was a godly man dedicated to serving the Lord, and was a faithful member of Hillside Baptist Church.
He was an avid golfer. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He will be sadly missed by many.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Eli Young; mother, Mary Garner Young; and his loving wife, Fredia Young.
Survived by his son, Gary Price; and his two devoted daughters, Pam (Jim) Smith and Paula Price Flanagan. Also, survived by his cherished grandchildren, Clint (Brandi) Goddard, Shelly Flanagan, and Cody Smith. As well, as his great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Austin, and Makenzi Goddard; along with aunt, Ruby Webb.
The family and friends will gather 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the main entrance to Highland Memorial Cemetery for a graveside service, with Pastor Terry Richards officiating.
