Miss Nellie Lavin was the daughter of the late Martin and Ann Kilroy Lavin and was a lifelong resident of Lambertville.
She worked as a clerk for many years at the J. B. Kline & Son's Store.
She was survived by one sister, Miss Jane Lavin of Lambertville, two nieces and one nephew.
Requiem high mass was celebrated in the Church of St. John the Evangelist. Interment was in the parish cemetery. She was buried in same plot as Catherine Lavin and Jane Lavin.
Her obituary was published in the Lambertville Beacon on February 2, 1956.
