Gloria J. Molck 1941 – 2016
Gloria J. Molck, 74, passed away February 11, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born April 2, 1941 in Watseka, Illinois, the daughter of Chester and Elizabeth (Eimen) Baker. She married Glen Molck on April 6, 1963 in Thawville, Illinois. She worked for the Rockford Post Office for 25 years, retiring in 2002. Survivors include husband Glen; four sons: Bryan (Karen), Concho, Arizona; David (Sue), Rockford; Christopher (Shawna), Park View, Iowa; and Andrew, Eldridge, Iowa. Grandchildren: Shadrach, Elias, Sam, Nick, Kohl, Alyssa (LCpl. Austin), Riley, PV2. Cody, Shawnee, Delaney and Madisyn; great grandchild Paxton; brother Steven (Pat)Baker; sister Diana Darrohn; many loving nieces, nephews and friends and many of her boys’ friends who affectionately called her “Mom.” Glen and Gloria raised four wonderful men. She was coach, supporter and defender, never afraid to give a good kick in the pants when required. Gloria (Mom Molck) loved spending time with family, especially all of her grandchildren. The sun rose and set on each and every one of her beloved grandchildren and they all felt the same about her.
Funeral Services at 11am Saturday February 20, 2016 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 South Mulford Road Rockford, IL with Pastor Tony Dusso of Our Saviors Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment in Sunset memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5pm until 8pm Friday in the funeral home. Visitation also from 10am until 11am Saturday in the funeral home.
