Balsinger, three children; David A. Balsinger of Harker Heights, TX, Commander Daniel J. Balsinger, United States Navy, and Amanda Marie Brata of Richmond, VA, and six grandchildren; Matt and Amy Balsinger, Kaitlyn and Zachary Balsinger, and Andy & Abby Marie Brata, respectively. She was a 25 year "U.S. Army wife survivor" and a former charge nurse, LVN. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016 at The Parham Chapel-Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. Interment to follow at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery of Amelia.
