The couple farmed 3 miles north of Spring Hill, Minn - east of Highway 4 in Sections 9 & 10 of Spring Hill Township. They farmed this land until the early 1950s when their son, Hank and his wife, Lillian (Gerding) Schoenberg, purchased the farm from Hank's parents. The farm remains in the Schoenberg family today.
