ABERDEEN – Annie Earl Roberts Hunter, 9l, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. She was born Jan. 11, 1919, in Monroe County to William Merl Roberts and Columbia Ann Taylor Roberts. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. She was a member of the North Mississippi Worship Center in Wren and a retired seamstress for the garment plant.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the North Mississippi Worship Center with Bro. Dudley and Sis. Lucy Nash officiating. Burial will be at New Prospect Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Beatrice Hunter Tubb of Wren; one son, William Doyle Hunter and wife, Glenda, of Aberdeen; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Peggy Hunter Holloway; and three sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Ben Guest, Jason Roberts, Josh Tubb, Daniel Tubb, Greg Hunter and Chop McGee.
