Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Broadus and Mrs. Bessie King Horne. She was a former resident of New Port Richey FL and a Baptist. She was first married to the late Louis Adams and then to the late Frank S. Wright. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Sonny (Barbara) Wham and Mrs. Uvil (Marian) Knight of Greenwood, Mrs. Tony (Bernice) Maddox of Hodges, Mrs. Thomas (Rebecca) Valine of Boston, and Miss Theresa Adams of Clearwater FL; a son, Harold L. Wright of Ware Shoals; a brother, Cecil Horne of Gastoria NC; grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Burial in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Blyth Funeral Home. The State, Thursday, November 12, 1987.
